We ordered two deserts and they did give me a candle at the end??? My birthday is next week but because my husband will be out of town for work at this time, we decided to celebrate my birthday a week early and upon lots of research, settled on Scarpetta. We thoroughly savored every bite of our entrees & couldn't be more pleased with such a satisfying meal. Loved the experience!

a little note:  life has gotten hectic in 2015 so i have not had a chance to post anything this year. We’ve been to Scarpetta before - both in Miami and in Las Vegas. It's a restaurant not a nightclub. Any time in Vegas this restaurant is a must. A very nice vacation dinner. We had the antipasti and octopus appetizers, lobster fra diavola and seafood oregenata followed by the salted caramel dessert.

Last nights dinner at scarpettas at the cosmo, the tasting menu. Our group of 9 was seated in a small private room with a side view of the Bellagio fountain show.... spectacular at night. It wasn't bad as food goes but it was horrible as Italian food. We arrived 10 minutes early and were told to sit in the bar which we did. The portion sizes are generous, which is not the case with some of the other restaurants of this caliber. Other than that the experience was enjoyable. Happy to help. Service was perfect...food was very good and bartender comped our wine because of the inefficiency and attitude of the hostess and restaurant in general. All of my first got different pastas but the table hit was the lobster pasta which I think is a special right now. Guess what - the first course they brought to my wife was fish! It's a worthy destination restaurant and a fun night out. Definitely returning.

Dessert was an impressive combo of warm sugar coated donut balls, filled with and on top of melty Nutella, and an exquisite banana gelato. Service was excellent. Our reservation for 830 pm was honored right on time, we were seated immediately upon arrival.
